Strojírna Novotný s.r.o. is a machine-engineering company specializing in the manufacture of weldments, loaders, and forwarders. The company, established in 1991, has two production plants in the Czech Republic, situated approx. 5 km from each other. The Dubicko plant produces weldments for loaders and additional equipment mainly for the German company Weidemann, partly also for our own production. The Vitošov plant specializes in the assembly of our own machines.
On 1 Jan 2011 the company transformed from a physical entity to a limited liability company. Strojírna Novotný s.r.o. has 85 permanent employees, mostly production workers. Machines produced by Novotný s.r.o. are designed to be used in agriculture, building industry and forestry. Since 1997 the company has been producing its own skid-steering loader BOBEK. In 2000 a medium-size articulated loader B 2000 was introduced, produced in three versions. Since 2004 the company has been producing also forestry machinery, focusing on small forwarders the utilisation of which reduces damages to forest soil and negative impacts on forest ecosystems
