Biber 78 is the newest model of the new chipper generation. Equipped with the newest chipping technology, it produces perfect fine wood chips, but also coarse chips.
In the medium size segment, it exceeds all expectations concerning power and quality of wood chips. It is also ideal for eliminating scattered woodpiles in an effective and economic way.
The infeed system works aggressively when processing brushwood as well as round timber up to 60 cm in diameter.
The new chipping rotor for fine and coarse wood chips is equipped with 12 fast-adjustable blades, mounted as half or full set.
The safeguard system for blade fixing reduces damages to the mechanism caused by foreign objects.
The 1.3 m2 large, fully exchangeable screen and the 1.4 m in diameter large blower with reliable wear elements realize a smooth processing of the material and uniform wood chips.
